New Stations for VRT/HSL Project
Hranice na Moravě VRT Station
The reconstructed Hranice na Moravě station will ensure the interconnection of the High-Speed Line and conventional railway line, and further link them to bus service. It will also offer parking for commuters travelling by car.
The fourth architectural competition organised in connection with the High-Speed Railway addresses the reconstruction of the existing station Hranice na Moravě. The station is located on a conventional railway line and will combine the functions of the existing railway station, a High-Speed Railway station and a bus terminal. This interconnection will enable High-Speed train travel to Valašské Meziříčí, Vsetín and further to Slovakia. The station, located in close proximity to the bus station, will improve transfer connections and facilitate daily travel.
